PRIVATE & CUSTOM TOURS

In addition to our programme of scheduled departure (small group) tours, we run many private/custom tours every year. Private/custom tours are ideal for those who prefer to travel alone, as a couple or family, or as a group of friends or club/society members. Indeed, as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, you might find you are simply more comfortable travelling with a group of people you know and trust.

PRIVATE TOURS

Any of our itineraries can be run at any time as private bird tours and wildlife holidays for individuals, couples, or groups of any size. Some itineraries, including most of our short tours, are available as private tours only, and you will not find associated dates in our tour calendar. Private tours are an ideal option if you would like to follow one of our itineraries to the letter, but have constraints on when you are able to travel.

  • How do I book a private tour?

  1. Contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, or via our Contact Us page for tour pricing for your group size or to reserve your chosen travel dates.

  2. Once you are ready to book, we will send you a booking form, along with the details you need to make a payment (by bank transfer).​​

CUSTOM TOURS

You might prefer to use one of our tours as the basis for creating your own personalised itinerary incorporating your other interests, such as photography, or accommodating the interests of a non-birding partner. You might also wish to travel at a slower (or faster!) pace, or spend more time targeting specific species.  We can also arrange custom extensions to any of our scheduled departure tours if you would like to add some extra days before or after your main trip.

  • How do I book a custom tour?

  1. Contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, or via our Contact Us page to talk to us about your travel plans. Whatever your requirements we'd be happy to help.

  2. Let us know what you would like to do, and when, any particular species you would like to try to see, and any other requests.

  3. We will offer our advice and suggestions, and put together an itinerary and quotation for your proposed tour which we'll send to you by email.

  4. We will give you time to read through the details, and will amend any part of the itinerary you wish, sending a revised quote if necessary.

  5. Once you are ready to book, we will send you a booking form, along with the details you need to make a payment (by bank transfer).​
